Visited today for the first time. This place is legit. The bread they use for the sandwiches is made in house and it is perfect. The sandwiches are huge and the fillings are fresh and high quality. Mama (the owner) is delightful and makes delicious pasta dishes. I will be back again and again.
Sandwiches good. Marinated olives are out if this world. Only 1 gripe is I ordered the 7 dollar sandwich and gave me same amount of meat the 5 dollar sandwich got on it. A little disappoining cause I got 4 of them.
These people are the best... clearly family owned. I have had several sandwiches here and love it every time. My favorite is the Bada-Bing! served hot on a fresh roll... can't be beat my friends. Parking is tough, I always end up a block or two down the street, but its worth the walk! You have to check these guys out next time you are looking for a great lunch in the La Mesa area.
This little family owned place is a gem. I go there mainly to buy their homemade lasange's which they freeze and sell. They are seriously good and why you would ever make yourself when you can get theirs? Also I get hunks of parm and Romano cheeses there as well. Their main biz is sandwiches made to order which are quite good as well.
Best Italian sandwich shop in town by far! My goto is the Southside, but everything is amazing. The people who work here couldn't be nicer. The big difference between here and other places is the bread. They make there own bread everyday. It's the little touches that make them so wonderful!
