Ive taken a total of 6 classes so far. I'd have to say the teachers I've had have just been ok. My economics teacher was very rude and condescending when you asked questions. My accounting teacher was terrible, as you couldn't read his writing on the board and he didnt explain things well. The teachers I had at Palomar Community College were far better as they were more dedicated, enthusiastic, organized, caring, and helpful. This is the main issue I've had. I don't see why any student should have to pay (especially an expensive fee mind you) for any of these classes because it's as if you just teach yourself most things.
I like the classes here but I'm tired of coming in the mornings to work in school work in the computer lab and what have you and it's never open on time. For example, this morning a arrive and it's 5 minutes past the time it opens. So I get up to the door and it doesn't open, it's locked. So I go back to my car and wait. Finally at 0816, one of the front desk ladies shows up and finally opens the door. If you're going to be open at a certain time, be open at that time. Not 15-20 minutes past the time you're supposed to be open. This isn't the first time!!!!
