The office at 8363 Center Dr Ste 6H, La Mesa, CA 91942 is open until 6:00, but if you return a car after 5:20 and expect a ride back to your car 2 miles away, they tell you they stop giving rides at 5:00 and suggest you call Uber. The only reason I chose Enterprise is because they pick you up and drop you off, but I understand. . . these young executives have other more important things than customer service to do on a Friday night. I think next time I'll just get a ride from Uber instead of Enterprise.
horrible experience, they complete screwed me over. They didnt let me have any say in what car i would get so they handed me the keys to the biggest car on the lot. didnt even fit in my apartment complex. with no say or other choices i was screwed. dont let companies like this walk all over you
I almost always rent from Enterprise! Their weekend specials are the BEST! They were also very friendly and prompt with service! And they'll give you a ride if needed!!
Friendly fast staff at the La Mesa branch. The very only reason I'm not rating a 5 is because they didn't have the type of car I reserved ready in time. Yes they did upgrade me to a very nice one that was ready but my credit card insurance didn't cover that type of vehicle so I then not only had to pay insurance I was made to pay the insurance for that bigger car type. Which wasn't fair as I reserved a car that my credit card insurance actually covered. So ended up paying double with no option.
The people here are very friendly and they do want you to be happy. The problem I have with this company is the outrageous fees for insurance. My car rental was $25.99 a day and the insurance was $21.99 a day. They told me if I didn't get the insurance, if a small pebble hits my windshield, the manager would immediately take my $1000.00 deductible. When I refused the insurance, the man says "ok sign right here stating that if a pebble hits your car you will give us your deductible on the spot". The wording was ridiculous to where I felt if I didn't get the insurance, their manager would come out when I returned the car and find something wrong. MInd you, the car they gave me had a misaligned bumper and scratches and dents everywhere so I wondered what they were doing with everyone's insurance money. When I complained about this outrageous fee, they offered me a free upgrade which to me means, higher insurance payment. I will not be coming back to Enterprise because of this which is bothersome because I loved the customer service and the fact that they were willing to pick me up and drop me off at my location.
